To achieve the highest possible accuracy, Technodiamant uses in house engineered machines. Because of these machines we are capable to offer standard radius tools with a waviness les than 0,25 µm. For special purposes however we can go down to 0,03 µm (less than 30 nm)
These tools are particularly designed for advance two-axis machines and are delivered with a controlled waviness certificate. This certificate shows not only the waviness in figures and in chart but gives the exact radius-size as well. Below you see the characteristics of a 2 mm RCC piece of copper/nickel which is manufactured on theNanotech 220UPL with 34 picometer resolution. The diamond tool was produced with a controlled waviness less than 0,1 µm over a window of 100°. As you can see the finish was in the low range of 1 nm Ra!  |
